We are a multi-disciplinary team of academic scientists that have devoted the last 15 years to developing technologies to measure genotypes and phenotype of bulk and single cell cancer cells during tumor evolution. We have pioneered the technologies and models needed for these analyses. We have published in a range of academic journals including Nature, Nature Cancer, Nature Communications, Genome Medicine, Cancer Research, and Molecular Cell. We are now bringing this experience to translate our technologies into improved clinical care and outcomes for patients.
A sophisticated analysis of tumor evolution and multi-omic data requires the diverse and unique skill sets brought to bear by quantitative scientists, such as systems and computational biologists, who characterize cancer complexity in terms of distinct metrics. These approaches integrate biological and clinical data using mathematical methods to understand a tumor’s diverse components and their dynamics during treatment. Integration of these measurements through team science into patient care can help improve treatment strategies and define higher order targets for future therapeutics.
